Hi! I’m Erica

 

I am the owner of Erica Woodford Photography, based in Austin, Texas. I specialize in photographing families & high school Seniors. I am also a mama to three wonderful humans (one working in higher eduction, one in finance and the youngest at University of Arkansas-Woo Pig Sooie!) and a bonus son in law!


I grew up on a cattle ranch where I experienced every kind of animal imaginable which is why I will often beg my clients to bring their pet along to their session:). We currently have 2 dogs (Ollie & Juneau), and one cat (Soxie). When I'm not behind the camera, you can find me on the pickleball court, traveling to new places, visiting my kids, or exploring new and fun coffee spots.


I am a California native and met my hubby of  29 years, at a small college (5,000 students) in Northern California. I went on to receive my Masters Degree in Social Work and worked as a counselor for families and children in the medical field for several years.



Shortly after moving to Austin, Texas years ago, I finally decided to follow my photography passion! Now I have the best of both worlds...I still get to work closely with families and teens while capturing the joy in their every day lives through beautiful images. I have now been photographing families and Seniors for over 17 years! I have taken both technical and artistic courses in the industry to enhance my professional skills and continue to do so on an ongoing basis. I feel honored that my work has been featured on such platforms as Senior Year Magazine, The Twelfth Year, Life and Lens, and Senior Inspire and was named as a Top 50 Senior Photographer nationwide!

I enjoy every moment I spend with my clients during our photo sessions and love to document these memories in a fun and spontaneous way and I strive to match each client's session to their personality. I'll walk you through the process every step of the way. Upon booking, Seniors receive a very detailed Senior Guide to make the process easy peasy. My style lends to photos that are timeless, sweet & colorful. I promise to capture the best photos of YOU!
